Declan Flanagan, CEO
Declan is Founder and CEO of Lincoln Clean Energy. He previously served as CEO of E.On’s North American renewables business which he joined in 2007 through E.On’s acquisition of Airtricity North America where he also served as CEO. With over 15 years of leadership experience in North American and European power markets, Declan has led over $5 billion in capital investment in wind and solar power. He is a former member of the boards of the both the American Wind Energy Association and the Solar Energy Industry Association. Declan holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management, an M.Sc. from the University of Ulster and a B.Sc. in Environmental Science from the National University of Ireland, Galway.
Dennis Meany, President
Dennis previously served as President and co-founder of Ridgeline Energy from 2002 until 2014. During this time Dennis led the development, financing, construction and operations of over 400 MW of wind and solar power as well as the sale of Ridgeline to Veolia in 2008 and its subsequent sale to Atlantic Power in 2012. Prior to funding Ridgeline, Dennis spent 9 years with Louis Dreyfus Energy in a variety of roles in the US and Europe. He started his career as a management consultant with Booz Allen. Dennis holds a BA from the University of Vermont and an MPP from the University of Michigan.
Philip Moore, Vice President, Development
Philip joined LCE from Renewable Energy Systems (RES Americas), where he focused on developing utility scale wind projects. Earlier in his career Philip held positions within the U.S. Department of Energy focusing on renewable energy technologies. Philip is active in renewable energy industry groups and serves as a board member of the Wind Coalition and is actively involved in the American Wind Energy Association. Philip holds a master’s degree from Johns Hopkins University and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin.
Neil O’Donovan, Vice President, Project Delivery
Neil is responsible for engineering, procurement, energy assessment and transmission. Prior to joining LCE he held various positions with NTR, an international investor in wind and solar power, and also worked as a management consultant for Booz & Co. Neil began his career at GE Energy working in the gas and steam turbine services business. Neil holds a bachelor’s degree from University College Dublin and a master’s degree from University of California-Berkeley, both in mechanical engineering.
Joan Hutchinson, Vice President, Origination & Business Development
Prior to joining LCE in 2015, Joan served as SVP Origination for Ridgeline Energy for six years working on the development and acquisition of wind and solar projects and their offtake agreements. Previously Joan spent over 15 years in marketing and portfolio management roles at Citigroup and Powerex where she led the negotiations of structured products. Joan started her career as a design engineer at BC Hydro ad holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Victoria.
